The Department of Tourism and Travel Management aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to excel in the dynamic and diverse field of tourism. Our objective is to cultivate a deep understanding of the tourism industry, including its economic, social, cultural, and environmental aspects, and to prepare students for leadership roles in this rapidly growing sector.

About the Department

The Department of Tourism and Travel Management was started during the academic year 2011-12. It has been providing comprehensive education and training in all aspects of the tourism and hospitality industry. Our faculty comprises seasoned professionals and scholars with extensive experience in the field, ensuring that students receive up-to-date and relevant instruction. We offer a diverse curriculum covering topics such as destination management, tourism marketing, sustainable tourism development, hospitality operations, event management, and cultural tourism. Through practical projects, internships, and industry collaborations, students gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary to succeed in the competitive tourism market.

Scope for Higher Education:

Master's degrees in Tourism management, Hospitality management, Event management, Sustainable tourism, or related disciplines.
