The B.A English Program has one section with a sanctioned strength of 50 students. The program enables the learners to nurture a passion for language and literature, exhilarating their critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.

The Department of English was started in the year1991, from the time of the inception of the College, to teach General English to the Undergraduate students of Commerce, Business Administration and Science streams. B.A English was introduced in the academic year 2017-18, keeping in view the programme outcome as specified by the University of Madras 'to explore the intricacies of the English language and its implementation in diverse fields.' The Department has a vibrant academic team of 10 Faculty members.
