The Department of English and IQAC of Sindhi College organize a one-day workshop on “Effective Strategies for Mastering the Four Language Skills” on 10 February, 2025 at the conference hall. Department of Business Administration in association with IQAC organizes an inter-departmental Business Expo 2025 on 14th February 2025 at the Central Hall. All are invited.


Duties of the Principal

The principal, as the head of institution, shall be responsible for the following;

  1. The overall progress of the college
  2. College admissions and the maintenance of discipline in the college
  3. Assisting in planning and implementation of academic programs such as seminars, workshops, etc., for enhancing the skills of the students and faculty.
  4. Supervising and implementing the academic activities of the college under the guidance of the management and with the assistance of the heads of departments.
  5. Administering and supervising curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
  6. To ensure that the employees and students abide by the rules, policies, and procedures laid down by the college.
  7. To conduct periodical meetings with the faculty for effective curriculum and administration of the college.
  8. To ensure that the classes are conducted effectively.
  9. To get feedback from students and faculty and take remedial action if necessary.
  10. To arrange campus placements through training and placement officers.
  11. To conduct college and university examinations
  12. To plan and improve exam results.
  13. Appointing well qualified faculty with the guidance of the management.
  14. For the maintenance of the entire college infrastructure, i.e., the building, canteen, classrooms, furniture, laboratories, computers, and electric & water supply fittings.
  15. All correspondence related to the administration of the college.
  16. To manage funds sanctioned for the college.

Duties of the Vice- Principal

  • He/ She must assist the principal to implement the above-mentioned academic responsibilities.
  • He/ She must take on the role of the principal in his/her absence.
