The principal, as the head of institution, shall be responsible for the following;
- The overall progress of the college
- College admissions and the maintenance of discipline in the college
- Assisting in planning and implementation of academic programs such as seminars, workshops, etc., for enhancing the skills of the students and faculty.
- Supervising and implementing the academic activities of the college under the guidance of the management and with the assistance of the heads of departments.
- Administering and supervising curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities.
- To ensure that the employees and students abide by the rules, policies, and procedures laid down by the college.
- To conduct periodical meetings with the faculty for effective curriculum and administration of the college.
- To ensure that the classes are conducted effectively.
- To get feedback from students and faculty and take remedial action if necessary.
- To arrange campus placements through training and placement officers.
- To conduct college and university examinations
- To plan and improve exam results.
- Appointing well qualified faculty with the guidance of the management.
- For the maintenance of the entire college infrastructure, i.e., the building, canteen, classrooms, furniture, laboratories, computers, and electric & water supply fittings.
- All correspondence related to the administration of the college.
- To manage funds sanctioned for the college.
Duties of the Vice- Principal
- He/ She must assist the principal to implement the above-mentioned academic responsibilities.
- He/ She must take on the role of the principal in his/her absence.
